A BRICS RIO RESET?

Jesus said, ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness’ - Matthew 6:33

Donald Trump Jr. seems to know something others don't.

I've been writing for years about the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) attempt to inaugurate a new 'world reserve currency' other than the U.S. dollar. Most say, "Impossible! BRICS can't do it."

However, this month (May 2025), Trump Jr. wrote an email addressed to 'Patriots', where he said:

"America’s economic adversaries have been meticulously executing their most ambitious plan yet.

'China, Russia, and their BRICS allies have spent years creating the infrastructure to replace the U.S. dollar as global reserve currency.

'Here’s what they’ve already accomplished:

  • Built alternative payment systems

  • Established currency swap agreements

  • Stockpiled massive gold reserves

'All of this has been happening quietly, beneath the radar of mainstream financial news.

'But this July, everything changes.

'The BRICS nations are meeting in Rio de Janeiro for what insiders are calling the "Rio Reset" – the public unveiling of their plan to fundamentally restructure the global monetary system away from dollar dominance."

This is the most serious challenge to the dollar we’ve ever seen!"

After President Trump was elected the 47th President of the United States (Nov. 2024), he ended a November 30, 2024, tweet with: ‘There is no chance that the BRICS will replace the U.S. Dollar in International Trade, and any Country that tries should wave goodbye to America.

So, who's right? Is Trump Jr correct that there'll be a RIO RESET this July? Or is President Trump correct in tweeting, "There is no chance?" Has something changed since President Trump tweeted last November? One would think father and son would be on the same page.
