If you’ve read my writings, you understand my strong stances in calling out homosexuality as a sin against the Creator, transgenderism as a violation of the Laws of Nature, and any notion biological gender is a “social construct” as a violation of scientific and human logic.
However, I’ve long advocated for churches, seminaries, and pastors to recognize that the Bible teaches the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to Christ’s body without reference to gender.
Many evangelicals falsely operate under the unbiblical practice of male authority over females.
I wrote a book about Christian males' unbiblical attempts in church leadership to exercise “spiritual authority over females.”
The book is called Fraudulent Authority. I write:
No human is given ‘spiritual authority’ over anyone in Christ’s Kingdom in the New Covenant.
I prove spiritual authority over anyone is a fraudulent authority in my book.
Jesus the Messiah, and only Jesus, has all spiritual authority over you.
Hear Him (Greek: acoute auton).
Sure, all gifted Christians in the church are great encouragers to us, especially those called to shepherd.
But the Holy Spirit dispenses spiritual gifts in the church without reference to gender.
Leaders in the church are to be chosen based on their humility, not their ability; their giftedness, not their gender; their holy conduct, not their haughty charisma.
That means Christian men and women can have the gift of teaching, prophecy, service, mercy, administration, oversight, or _____ (fill in the blank with any spiritual gift from the New Testament).
An Email from One Wounded
You may think what I’m writing is “no big deal.”
However, if you are a gifted Christian woman in an evangelical church who doesn’t understand the teaching of the Scriptures on this subject, this is a very big deal.
I received an email yesterday from Cheri Robison, a gifted Christian woman from Ohio. Cheri had read Fraudulent Authority and felt prompted to send me an email.
Cheri has permitted me to publish her email because “I desire to help other women.”

Wade,
I want to thank you for writing the book Fraudulent Authority. It has been a book of healing for me.
I went through a very harsh experience with the pastors at an SBC church that I attended for 15 years.
