Wade and Rachelle's 40th Wedding Anniversary

We are in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this Sunday, August 6, 2023, celebrating our 40th Anniversary with Istoria Board members Randy and Lori Long.

The Longs were married on the same day, August 6, 1983, at the exact same hour, in First Baptist Church. The Longs ceremony was in Enid (Lori’s hometown), and ours was in Bartlesville (Rachelle’s hometown).

It’s been quite the ride these past 40 years for both couples!

Rachelle and I are very excited about the coming years of ministry.

We’re both too young and too passionate about the Kingdom to retire.

I stepped down from pastoring an institutional church in January 2022, but we both are working harder than ever.

After consultation with many - including the most amazing team of volunteers ever assembled - and after some personal reflection, Rachelle and I decided that I would not run for U.S. Congress again in 2024.
