The word ‘Christian’ means ‘little Christ.’

A Christian, or one who follows Christ, exhibits the characteristics of the Messiah (Gr. Christos).

That’s why a follower of Jesus is called a “little Christ.”

Jesus was “moved with compassion” when He saw people in need.

“Jesus saw that the large crowd was hungry and was moved with compassion” Matthew 14:14.

Compassion is a fundamental trait of Christianity.

Compassion is the capacity to feel and respond to the suffering of others.

Compassion is also the basic building block for empathy, understanding, and cooperation with others.

America has been such a great nation because America has been filled with Christian citizens.

Manipulating Compassion for Gain

Compassion, when misused, can become a tool for those seeking to exploit the goodwill of the majority.

A paradox emerges when the compassion of the majority is manipulated and used to the advantage of the minority, ultimately leading to the "tyranny of the minority."

Minority groups, often recognizing the power of eliciting empathy, strategically position themselves as victims to gain sympathy and support.

This can be observed in various political, economic, and social contexts.

By portraying themselves as marginalized and oppressed, minority groups can manipulate the compassion of the majority to advance their own agendas, often at the expense of broader societal interests.

Media and Emotional Manipulation

Media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and evoking emotional responses.

Minority groups can use media platforms to amplify their narratives of suffering, capturing the attention and compassion of the majority.

By framing issues to emphasize their victimhood, they generate sympathy and foster a sense of obligation among the majority.

This emotional manipulation can lead to public sentiment being swayed in favor of policies or actions that cater to the minority's demands, regardless of their broader implications.

Christianity and the United States

At some point shortly, followers of Jesus Christ will have to realize that the most loving thing we can do for minority groups is to stand firm against the tyranny of the minority and not allow the compassion in our hearts to enable the downfall of our country’s Christian principles.

I resolve today to love everyone, including those different from me in lifestyle, ethnicity, religion, and behavior.

That said, I also refuse to bow to the tyranny of the minority. I will have compassion and love, but I will stand firm on the Christian principles that founded this nation.
