Tucker & Putin
Russians think the West is infected with Nazis who want to make Russia "better." Take time to listen.
We are all busy people. Our work, kids (grandkids), hobbies, and social events consume our time.
A few years ago, I drove down a city street and saw smoke coming from the back of a large home. I ran to the front door to scream at the people inside that their house was on fire.
They had no idea. But when they heard my warning shouts, they dropped everything, even the important stuff they were doing, and ran outside.
“There is nothing so strong and safe in an emergency as the truth.”
Charles Dickens
The Interview of 2024

Tic Tok and Twitter are discussing President Joe Biden's declining a Sunday interview for the Super Bowl. I’m increasingly convinced he will withdraw from the 2024 Presidential election race. Biden’s refusal to interview during the Super Bowl is no big deal.
But the interview between Tucker Carlson and President Vladimir Putin is a big deal.
Here’s why.
If all you know about Russia and Mr. Putin is what you hear from the mainstream media, then you may be uninformed.
Yes, Mr. Putin is not a good man. Yes, he imprisons his political opponents and even assassinates some. But what is the current administration of the United States doing to its opponents to its opponents?
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Free speech is the main safeguard of the people against absolute power that corrupts.
John Milton, author of Paradise Lost, says it well:
“Let Truth and Falsehood grapple. Whoever knew Truth put to the worse, in a free and open encounter?” It is a peculiar evil to silence the expression of an opinion. If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for Truth; if wrong, they lose what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of Ttruth, produced by its collision with error.”
John Milton, in his speech before the English Parliament, November 23, 1644.
The Bible says it even better in Acts 5:38:
“I advise you to leave them alone. If their purpose is of human origin, it will fail.”
I admire Tucker for doing what no other journalist will do.
That interview with Putin will air on Tucker Carlson Network and be free to everyone. It will not be behind the TCN paywall.
I hope you are paying attention. Our house is on fire.
