The Left's Lies about 'White Supremacy'
Always defend Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce while condemning racism.
‘Propaganda helps change the world by creating a false impression of the way the world is.’ - Rod Dreher in his best-selling book, Live Not by Lies.
Have you ever asked yourself:
'Why did ‘race’ become an issue in the United States in 2020?
Beginning with the George Floyd riots, continuing through the Black Lives Matter tyrannical take-down of American cities, the ridiculous promotion of ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ (DEI) policies throughout corporations, and the elevated Democratic harangues against ‘White Supremacy,’ race became an issue in the USA.
Don’t be fooled.
The Left lies about the ‘problem of race’ to overcome the real problems in their minds.
Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce.
A Clear Example of the Left’s ‘Bait and Switch’
Racial slavery is a crime against the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God.
Racial superiority is a lie from the pit of hell, set on fire by the ‘Father of Lies.’
The ideals and principles of Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce are Divine wisdom.
The LEFT LIES and attempts a ‘bait and switch’ to act as if the defense of Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce is a defense of white supremacy.
Here’s an example of a Leftist-leaning ideologue who interacts with me on social media to attempt a ‘bait and switch’ of the real issues. He has a good heart, but his mind’s messed up.
The Supremacy of TRUTH over Ethnicity
In my life as a pastor, historian, and student of the Word, I have witnessed countless attempts to align Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce along ethnic lines.
The notion of racial superiority - a tribal temptation as old as Babel - is contrary to the very heart of Divine concepts of peace and prosperity, as found in the pages of Scripture, the lessons of history, and the principles of Divine philosophy.
Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce are not born of ethnicity but stand upon the everlasting foundation of Truth and the universal values revealed by the Creator.
Civilization’s Rooted in Divine Truth, Not Race
The classic definition of civilization extends beyond geography or ancestry.
British historian Arnold J. Toynbee defined a civilization by its response to challenges and its creativity (Toynbee, A Study of History, Vol. 1).
‘Neither response nor creativity is the sole preserve of any ethnic group; they are marks of shared humanity. If civilization were ethnic, history would be a record of closed societies.’
Flourishing civilizations—from Assyria, Babylon, Greece, and Rome to Song China, the Ottoman Empire, the United States, and others—were all world empires that promoted values of justice, order, and virtue.
From the biblical standpoint, Genesis 1:27 asserts: ‘So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God, He created them.’
This Imago Dei doctrine forms the bedrock of civilization, denoting equal dignity and capacity for culture across humanity, irrespective of ethnicity.
The Apostle Paul echoed this universalism at Mars Hill:
‘From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth’ - Acts 17:26.
Civilization advances not by the inheritance of skin or language but by the inheritance of Truth.
Societies flourish when Truth prevails—justice for the weak, care for the poor, the pursuit of knowledge, and the rule of law—regardless of the color of those who practice them.
Christianity: Universal GOOD NEWS
Of all global religions, Christianity is perhaps the most radical in its erasure of ethnic boundaries.
Jesus deliberately violated ethnic taboos: conversing with Samaritans (John 4), praising the faith of a Roman centurion (Matthew 8), and teaching that ‘many will come from east and west and will eat with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven’ (Matthew 8:11, NRSV).
The early church, likewise, shocked the ancient world by welcoming Jews and Gentiles, Greeks and barbarians, slaves and free (Galatians 3:28).
Historically, some non-Christians who claim to be Christians have tragically misused Christianity to support racist or nationalist ideology.
Yet, this racism is a BETRAYAL of the GOOD NEWS, not its FULFILLMENT.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. rightly insisted that:
‘Christianity has always insisted that the worth of a man is not to be based on the color of his skin or the texture of his hair, but on his inner spiritual potentiality.
Theologically, the Book of Revelation paints the church's final victory as an international choir:
“A great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne…” (Revelation 7:9, ESV).
Christianity is based on the Truth of God’s love for “the world” (John 3:16)—not one nation above another.
Commerce: Exchanging Goods and Goodwill
Some might argue that commercial cooperation is most fruitful within homogeneous societies.
History disagrees.
The Silk Road, the Indian Ocean trade, and trans-Atlantic Commerce flourished by connecting diverse peoples. As Adam Smith observed in The Wealth of Nations (1776):
‘The propensity to ‘truck, barter, and exchange’ belongs universally to humanity. Commerce flourishes where there is trust, fairness, and Truth, not bloodlines.
The Hebrew prophets denounced false weights and dishonest scales (Amos 8:5).
The teachings of Jesus—Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No' (Matthew 5:37)—demand economic honesty.
The early church held Commerce in high regard where it was subservient to Truth, justice, and neighborly love, as shown in Paul’s letter to Philemon or James’s warnings against exploiting the poor (James 5:1-6).
Commerce offers a sacred opportunity, a venue for Truth that transcends national boundaries. The strongest economies have never been based on who trades, but how they trade - with Truth, equity, and mutual benefit.
The Supremacy of Truth and Biblical Values
Truth is the ultimate standard by which every claim—scientific, historical, or ethical—is measured.
Plato insisted that Truth, not opinion, is the root of justice.
Augustine of Hippo wrote, ‘All Truth is God’s Truth.
Truth unites, rather than divides, humanity.
Scripture holds Truth as foundational:
‘Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.’ (John 17:17)
‘You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ (John 8:32)
The tragedy of human history has come, not from a belief in the supremacy of one ethnicity BUT FROM the denial of the supremacy of God’s truth.
Racism, tribalism, and exclusion always wither when exposed to the searching light of God’s Truth.
Conclusion: Live Not By Lies from the Left
As I reflect on the trajectory of Western civilization, the global spread of Christianity, and the rich tapestry of world commerce, I am convinced that prosperity arises in societies rooted in Truth, justice, and biblical values.
But those who deny the Truth will try to convince you that ‘White Supremacy’ is the issue in the United States.
Racial superiority is not the problem in America. All races are equal.
Truth and its superiority over the lies of the left is the issue in America.
The supreme achievement of Civilization is not the dominance of one race, but the flourishing of all humanity under God’s design.
Christianity’s triumph is not a cultural coup but the redemption of persons from ‘every tribe and language and people and nation’ (Revelation 5:9).
The crowning achievement of Commerce is not wealth hoarded by the few, but the prosperity of communities knitted together by trust and virtue.
Thus, I declare with confidence—as a student of Scripture, history, and philosophy—that Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce must stand on the Truth revealed in the Bible, not the accident of birth.
Supremacy belongs not to ethnicity but to Truth, and by God’s grace, the Truth is open to all.
