The Iranian People (Persians) Love Israelis
But the Persians of Iran are ruled by Islamic fundamentalist Arabs who fund Hamas.
Talk is growing about Israel’s war with Hamas expanding to a war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Americans must understand the difference between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the people of Iran.
Persians compose the majority of the citizens of Iran. Persian people are not Arabic. Their native religion is not Islam.
In 2015, the CIA World Factbook provided the following percentage breakdown of ethnicity in Iran:
61% Persian
16% Azeri
10% Kurd
6% Lur
2% Baloch
2% Arab
2% Turkmen and Turkic Tribes
1% other
The Persian people have a long and friendly relationship with the Jews.
Cyrus, King of Persian, freed the Jewish people from Babylonian Captivity in October 539 B.C. and sent them back to the land of Israel to rebuild the nation of Israel after it was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonian army in 586 B.C. This Persian king is called by the Jews even today a “messiah” of Israel.
Xerxes, King of Persia (called Aheruesus in Greek), married a beautiful Jewess named Esther in 481 BC. This is the amazing love story you read about in the book of Esther.
Today, Jews are “safe and at peace” in Iran because the Persian people love the Jews and provide them a sense of security - even though the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran threatens to launch an atomic bomb against Israel and “blow the nation of Israel off the map of the world.”
So how did radical, fundamentalist Islamic Arabs get control of the Persian people?
