The inauguration ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time, with Trump's swearing-in at roughly noon ET, when Donald Trump officially becomes President.
Trump’s inaugural proceedings were initially to take place along the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, but the president-elect decided to move the ceremony indoors to the Capitol Rotunda because of cold temperatures expected in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
