I Ran from Shia Trust
Lessons for Americans who support Iran from Aesop's 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf.'
‘Prove all things; hold fast that which is good’ - 1 Thessalonians 5:21
The most convincing argument from my fellow libertarian conservatives for why the United States should not attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with bunker-busting bombs comes from influencers like Tucker Carlson.
Tucker and others say:
‘The U.S. government lied to us before about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and the U.S. government is lying to us now about ‘nuclear weapons capabilities in Iran.”
The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Aesop’s Fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf illustrates why Americans hesitate to accept warnings about Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
The U.S.’s history of unsubstantiated claims has bred skepticism, but the gravity of a potential nuclear threat demands scrutiny.
However, like the villagers in Aesop’s Fable, the American public must learn to separate fact from fiction to avoid dismissing a real danger.
The Lies, the Legacy, and the Longings of Shias
There are three reasons I ran from trusting Iran’s radical Shia overlords of the Persian people.
Reason #1 - Shia’s LIE to Advance Their Version of Islam
Taqiyya is rooted in Shia Islamic jurisprudence, allowing Islamic believers to conceal their intentions to protect themselves or advance broader religious objectives.
Taquiyya means ‘to shield’ or ‘protect.’ It is a practice in Shia Islam that permits dissimulation to safeguard one’s life, property, or faith when facing persecution. Its origins trace to the early Shia community, which faced hostility from Sunni majorities and rulers following the martyrdom of Imam Ali and his son Husayn.
Shia texts, such as Kitab al-Kafi, cite the sixth Imam, Ja’far al-Sadiq, who reportedly said:
“Taqiyya is my religion and the religion of my forefathers.”
Since the early 2000s, Iran’s Supreme Leader, the Shia cleric Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has claimed that nuclear weapons are haram (forbidden) under Islamic law.
He’s lying.
He’s lying for the good of radical Shia Islam.
He cannot be believed.
Despite the fatwa narrative, in 2024, nuclear scientist Mahmoud Reza Aghamiri, tied to Khamenei’s office, claimed on state television that the Supreme Leader could change his position, as building a bomb is ‘not complicated.’
The radical Shia clerics who rule over the Persian people cannot be divorced from the Shia post-1979 revolutionary ideology.
Shia radicals seek to export Shia Islam and counter Western and Israeli influence.
The Islamic Republic’s leadership views the United States (‘Great Satan’) and Israel ‘Little Satan’) as existential threats to its vision of regional dominance.
In summary, the radical Shia Muslim overlords of the Persian people have a theological and philosophical reason to lie about nuclear weapons to advance Islam.
Reason #2 - Iranian Shia LEGACY of Torture and Death
I could give over 100 SOURCED events of Shia Islamic Iranian terror, but here’s 10.
