For those of you who read my writings from across the United States and the world, but especially for my friends in my native OKLAHOMA, I want to reveal to you a hidden gem in the state of Oklahoma that will be the next Branson, Missouri.
The newly incorporated city of Hochatown, Oklahoma, (incorporated in 2022), sits at the southern base of the Ouachita Mountains in McCurtain County. The original settlement of Hochatown is 200 feet underwater in the middle of the Broken Bow Lake Reservoir.
Hochatown, Oklahoma is booming. Some are predicting that Hochatown and the area around it will be as popular of a destination as Branson, Missouri within a decade.
