HAMAS and Its Evil Gold Fist

Just War principles should guide civilized thinking about this war.

I write this Substack for my friends who love world peace, who care for people, and who are beginning to feel doubtful about Israel’s war to destroy the HAMAS terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.

Americans must not waver in our support of Israel’s resolve to destroy HAMAS.

The 2023 Yom Kippur HAMAS War began on October 7, 2023. Israel’s efforts to destroy HAMAS are as essential to civilized humanity as the Allied Powers efforts at destroying the Nazis during World War II.

Thousands of HAMAS terrorists invaded ISRAEL on the morning of October 7, 2023, killing defenseless women, children, and the elderly, taking captive over 250 Israelis, and butchering babies like animals. The 2023 Yom Kippur War began.

The depravity of the HAMAS attack is haunting to those who lived through it. I won’t recount the butchery. A handwritten note on a dead HAMAS terrorist explains why HAMAS massacred in cold blood 1400 Jews, the single most significant death toll by terrorism of the Hebrew people since the Holocaust.

Translation of the HAMAS’ terrorist note:

“Know that this enemy of yours (Jews) are a disease that has no cure, other than beheading and extracting their hearts and livers!"

Israel declared war on HAMAS as a result of the massacre of Jews on October 7.

A Just War

The Just War Theory of civilized nations gives the moral reasoning for:

1. jus ad bellum ("the right to go to war").

2. jus in bello ("the right conduct in war").

I told my wife after Israel went to war against HAMAS, it wouldn’t be long before some Americans, Europeans, and other civilized nations would turn against Israel.

We haven’t educated American children about Just Wars.

Israel is fighting a Just War.

HAMAS is an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-ISlamiyya, which means “the Islamic Resistance Movement.

The U.S., Europe, and Israel all officially label HAMAS a terrorist organization.

HAMAS wants all Jews dead. HAMAS wants the nation of Israel obliterated.

HAMAS wants another Holocaust.

HAMAS Doctrine

HAMAS terrorists massacred Jewish children while they slept at an Israeli Kibbutz.

Hamas’ ideology is simple, and it is this simplicity that makes it so powerful to the Islamic masses:

1. “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

2. ‘The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”

3. “Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement … Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”

The HAMAS’ idealogy above comes straight from its founding document called the Hamas Covenant.

The Nazis killed six million Jews from 1940-1945.

Seventy-five years later, the same Nazi indoctrination that called for the eradication of the Jews continues with Hamas indoctrination.

HAMAS Billionaires

HAMAS has taken billions of dollars of aid from the West intended for the Palestinian people, and HAMAS leaders have stolen the aid money.

HAMAS military headquarters are under the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip. The billionaire HAMAS leaders live in Qatar while their soldiers run the HAMAS operations in Gaza.

Israel dropped leaflets telling the Palestinian people to flee northern Gaza, including the hospital. HAMAS would not let the people leave. HAMAS uses innocent civilians, including captured hostages, as human shields.

How Did Hamas Gain Control of GAZA?

Many Americans wonder how terrorists came to control Gaza.

Here’s a brief timeline of how HAMAS took control.

In 2005, under pressure from the United States and Europe, Israel dismantled 21 Jewish villages in the Gaza Strip and removed Israeli soldiers from Gaza.

In 2006, HAMAS transitioned from managing a network of social services in Gaza to the official government of the Gaza Strip.

In 2007, HAMAS gained sole control of the Gaza Strip, with its rival political organization, the Palestinian Authority, governing the West Bank. The West Bank is a term used to describe land on the West Bank of the Jordan River.

HAMAS controls and indoctrinates Gaza citizens with Islamic extremist ideology through absolute political power and the redistribution of resources as a reward (food, water, shelter, etc…).

Don’t Be Like a 1945 German Christian

Many Christians in Germany stood by and let the Nazis murder their Jewish neighbors. Many institutional churches and religious people did nothing to help the Jews.

HAMAS, like the Nazis, has stated they wish to exterminate all Jews. HAMAS, like the Nazis, has stated their intention to wipe the Nation of Israel off the face of the earth.

HAMAS, like the Nazis, has massacred thousands of Jews. HAMAS, like the Nazis, hides underneath hospitals and behind civilians. HAMAS, like the Nazis, must be destroyed for the sake of humanity.

Israel is doing all it can to protect Palestinian civilians. Still, just like Germany in the 1940s when 410,000 German civilians died in Allied strategic bombings, thousands of Palestinians will, unfortunately, die as Israel bombs Gaza to destroy HAMAS.

War is hell.

But a Just War fought and won is better than an Evil World lost and done.
