There are three major general Artificial Intelligence companies in the United States.

• OpenAI.com (Microsoft’s)

• Bard (Google’s)

• Grok (Twitter’s)

What is AI?

An AI-generated picture (Dalle-2) of AI and a system of computers.

Artificial: Humanly contrived or “man-made.”

Intelligence: The ability to learn or understand using logic or reason.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to developing computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, speech recognition, and language understanding. AI systems are designed to mimic cognitive functions, enabling them to adapt and improve over time.

There are two main types of AI:

• Narrow AI (called “weak” AI”) which is programmed for a specific task, and

• General AI (called “strong AI”) human-like cognitive abilities across various domains.

I asked OpenChat.AI (Microsoft) to give me a joke about AI. This is what I got:

Why I Like Grok

Grok is Elon Musk’s general AI on Twitter.

Properly understood, AI can become your research aid and ministry friend.

I like Grok over Microsoft and Google’s versions of general intelligence because Elon Musk understands general AI is only as good as the bias of inputs.

I occasionally post on TWITTER. I don’t have many followers because my goal is not popularity.

Those loved the most are typically the ones who mindlessly post.

People secretly desire to see the vulgar and profane.

I write for those who wish to think and ascertain.

That’s why I like Grok.

Elon Musk can be vulgar and profane, but he doesn’t limit or censor those who think and ascertain in a manner contrarian to the crowd.

A Premium Roast from Grok

As a Twitter Premium Subscriber, I can ask Artificial Intelligence (Grok) to “roast me” based on my writings. I asked Grok to do just that, and Grok seems to have nailed it (at least from my perspective).
