A realistic, majestic 35mm photo of the ancient prophet Daniel in his Babylonian home, with the angel Gabriel appearing to him. The angel, dressed in glowing white robes, is floating in the air, exuding a powerful and serene presence. Daniel, wearing traditional ancient Jewish clothes, is on his knees in awe. The scene takes place in a dimly lit, grand interior with Babylonian architecture, featuring ornate columns and soft candlelight casting shadows on the walls. The atmosphere is both dramatic and ethereal, highlighting the encounter's significance.

What does God’s sovereignty mean?

“God does,” as A.W. Pink explained in a letter to my grandfather, "as He pleases, only as He pleases, and always as He pleases."

Nothing happens in this world but that God either promotes it, prohibits it, or permits it.

However, a Christian must not let a theological construction override biblical instruction. Systematic theology is never better than biblical theology.

If you don't understand the Word of the LORD, don't sit in the dark until you do.
