For You, Peanut

I voted in memory of Peanut the Squirrel and limited government.

I voted today in memory of Peanut the Squirrel.

I know Greek and Hebrew.

I study the Scriptures. I write my articles at Istoria to encourage fellow Christians.

However, after 40 years of writing theological, biblical, and historical articles to encourage my friends who follow Jesus, I’ve discovered an axiom about writing.

People love their animals and emotionally respond to pets more than biblical principles.

I intend no shame in my observation. “Just the facts,” as Sergeant Friday used to say.

Today, I voted for President of the United States, state officials in Oklahoma, and a slew of state Supreme Court Justices and local politicians.

I voted in memory of Peanut the Squirrel.
