The importance of Bible memorization.
‘How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!’ - Psalm 119:103
YHWH said, ‘Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and He gave me the scroll to eat. Then He said, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.’ Ezekiel 3:1-3

Well, as one of the those who will be at the ranch I can’t wait to hear Wade speak to us! I really enjoyed the challenge of memorizing this chapter. It is so true that the Holy Spirit helps us pull on memorized Scriptures as needed in day-to-day situations. Truly, I feel as if I am a better co-laborer with Christ when these scriptures come forth!
Love this! I’ve been a huge advocate for scripture memory. I’m glad I memorized when I was younger. Not sure I could do it as well now. Memorized chunks of scripture as well as chapters. It amazes me when I hear the excuse that people just can’t memorize. I always ask, “Do you know the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord’s Prayer? Do you remember commercial jingles from your childhood?” Do you remember the words from favorite songs in your teens? Etc, etc.
