“A cheerful heart is like a good medicine” - Proverbs 17:22
I love comedy - with a caveat.
I love clean comedy that I can watch without blushing alongside my family.
Nate Bargatze is the coolest comedian on the planet. And, best of all, he’s a Christian.
Nate’s the one comedian with whom we Christians can both love and laugh.
Here’s Nate (as General George Washington) this October 2024 on Saturday Night Live.
Nate was born in 1983 in Nashville, Tennessee, where he probably learned to tell jokes while eating hot chicken and playing with his dog. Nate’s a family man.
Nate wanted to be a comedian since he was a kid, which is like saying you want to be a superhero when you grow up, except his superpower is making people laugh! Nate attended Donelson Christian Academy for high school in Nashville, Tennessee.
He started telling jokes in clubs, and while he didn’t have a cape, he had some funny stories about his family, like how his dad thinks he’s a magician but can’t even pull a rabbit out of a hat!
Nate’s humor is all about everyday stuff, like how weird it is when adults try to act cool or how confusing it is to be an adult—seriously, who understands taxes?
Nate is now very popular. Netflix has specials featuring him, and he’s treated like a rock star.
However, instead of music and guitars, give Nate a mic and many giggles follow.
Nate went on a massive tour in 2024, making people laugh across the United States!
If you ever see Nate on stage, remember:
Nate’s is a wizard of the funny, using clean jokes to cast spells that make everyone smile.
Support Nate Bargatze. He’s a Christian who reminds us of how comedy can be clean.
