"The wicked are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment or sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish." (Ps 1:4-6)
"The life of mortals is like grass. They flourish like a flower in the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone and its place remembers it no more." (Ps 103:15,16)
Why should any who are not anchored in The Lord be expected to be trustworthy, steadfast in righteousness, have any sustainable commitment to Godly values?
The question more difficult to me is, "Why would those sincerely steadfast in The Lord support such floundering loose canons?" Hence, those high profile, "evangelical", leaders recently endorsing politicians running on such platforms?
