16 Pearl Harbor Survivors Remain
December 7, 1941 is a "date that will live in infamy" - President FDR.
“You did awesome things that we did not expect,
You came down, and the mountains trembled before you.” - Isaiah 64:3
CNN has published a great story today on the 83rd anniversary of Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, the official beginning of World War II for the United States.
There remain only 16 United States military survivors of the December 7, 1941, attack.
One day soon, possibly even by the 85th anniversary (2026) or certainly by the 90th anniversary of the attack, there will be zero survivors.
The countdown begins.
16 survivors still live.
Soon, there will be 0 survivors.
It’s time for a new generation of Americans to rise to become “The Greatest Generation.”
It is true that before long there will be zero survivors from the Pearl Harbor attack as well as zero survivors from World War Two!
What is sad today is failure to educate our younger generations of what America has been through and faced to give those in this country the freedom they enjoy, even to the point for those who hate us to protest against the freedom they have been given!
